Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn

On both ships the children's pool zone at the back of the ship and measuring about 160 m2 in area was built entirely of glass fibre-reinforced plastic.

Four different pools, raised deck areas and stairs, and on the Norwegian Dawn water slides and an artificial rock landscape with tunnels, were supplied as prefabricated modules and components.

And on the pool deck of the Norwegian Star the light and sound equipment was housed in two compact towers designed to look like lighthouses. In addition, the two sister ships were equipped with "Palm Tree Lights".
