Solar concentrators

Solar concentrators are main functional building blocks of small-size Dish/Stirling type solar power generators. Since 2000, Dish/Stirling type trial installations for decentralized solar power supply have been tested in Spain within the European “EuroDish” project.

Segmented concentrators are easily transportable and thus specifically suitable for remote installations.

Hahlbrock manufactured the individual concentrator segments from GRP sandwich material which were assembled on-site to build a paraboloidal dish with 8.5 meters (28 ft) in diameter.
